Emperor bust sculpture

I have been always fascinated with the ancient rome sculptures where everything was handcrafted over years with great passion and attention to every step since there were no undo back then. Great masters inspired me with the gesture and expression of their works maintaining the figure alive fo many many years.
I did not tried to do any likeness so I started from my imagination and used some refs to make it more believable. I am here sharing my exploration with different materials but I ended up with white marble since most of my favourites pieces shared this beautiful material and my wife and best advisor suggested me so.
He has a double expression since I thought it was a great opportunity to work on facial expressions.
